RIVER HOUSE ON THE TOCCOA The Riverwatch Retreat cabin sits directly on the Toccoa River. Features include a true dining room with large table seating 8, large vaulted great room with floor to ceiling rock gas burning fireplace and SAT TV. A large main level master bedroom has a king size bed, a sofa with twin sleeper bed, SAT TV, and French doors that open onto a very large, expansive, screened porch with a view of the Toccoa River. Here is where you will also find a gas grill and enough seating for everyone in your party with 2 picnic tables, 4 rocking chairs, a cushioned, willow settee and 2 willow chairs. Leave the doors open at night and feel secure to enjoy the sound of rushing waters. The elegant master bath boasts a large stone shower big enough for two. On the other side of the cabin is a queen suite with adjoining stone bath, again big enough for two! The kitchen is fully equipped with all appliances, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, glassware, cutlery, pots and pans and serving dishes galore! There is an outdoor wood burning fire pit and private hot tub which sits under a covered and screened porch. The lower level has a game room with gas fireplace, SAT TV, regulation pool table, board games, and a futon and sleeper sofa for additional sleeping. There is another queen bedroom and a bunk bed for more guests! Step across the road and the entire Toccoa River beckons you to float, fish, kayak or sit quietly by reading and relaxing under the gazebo. This section of the river is some of the best trout fishing in the area, sitting above the dam and not subject to water regulation. Located beside the river you will find a pavilion with grill and table. Nearby attractions include hiking the beautiful trails of North Georgia, biking, Antique Shopping, White Water Rafting, Horseback Riding, Scenic Train Rides and the famous Swan Drive In. Just a short walk down the road is the Lily Pad, a place to enjoy music, miniature golf, specialty coffees, gem mining and fishing in their pond. A great time for kids and adults!
